A note from the wildwood

Cottage is a storybook that never got written, sold one page at a time. There are fairy houses built into toadstools, hedgehogs carrying more berries than seems wise, barn owls looking out through ivy, and a rose-covered archway painted like a lost impressionist studied it for a summer. Everything is soft-edged, warm and a little sleepy. It suits the rooms people actually relax in — a bedroom, a reading chair, the top of a stairway you pass a dozen times a day. Lavender and bees in a kitchen is a small daily kindness. A few designs also appear on phone cases, for taking the wildwood outside. Everything is printed to order.
